 **************

  1. Introductions to the Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP):

The Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP) helps Canadian companies of all sizes move their state-of-the-art goods and services from the laboratory to the marketplace.

Through the BCIP, the Government of Canada buys pre-qualified goods and services and moves these late-stage research and development innovations to federal departments for testing. After testing, the BCIP provides feedback to suppliers on the performance of their products or services.

Benefits to innovators:

  • Land your first sale
  • Keep your IP
  • Test your innovation in a real-life setting
  • Get feedback to help you get to market faster.

 Who should attend?

The BCIP is looking for Canadian, pre-commercial innovations at the following stages of development/technology readiness levels:

  • A prototype is ready for demonstration in an appropriate operational environment (TR7).
  • The technology is completed and qualified through testing and demonstration (TR8).
  • The technology is proven through successful deployment in an operational setting but which does not yet have commercial sales of the final ready-for market version (TR9).

Join us to learn more about how you could benefit from the program!
