How do you rate Business & Economy in High River?

Our High River, and all of the business support organizations – Chamber of Commerce, Community Futures, McBride Career Group, Bow Valley College and the Town of High River – invite you to take part in High River’s Vital Focus: The Community’s Voice on Economy and Business.

This survey is designed for citizens as well as business owners and operators to share their perspectives on issues related to the economy and business in High River. The Vital Focus survey will only take a few minutes to complete and your input is extremely valuable.

Please click on the link below to access the survey and feel free to send this invitation along to other community members! You can also enter to win 1 of 10 $50.00 gift certificates to a local business of your choice. The deadline to complete the survey is July 7th.

Dream Developer’s have some big plans for High River.

The Town of High River and Dream Developer’s have some big plans for High River.

Besides the homes already being built in Montrose, and more to be added this year, there’s much more commercial development along 12th Avenue planned for the next couple of years.

Dream’s Director of Retail Leasing, Shevawn Sernecky, says once work is done on Montrose Plaza, they’ll have another strip-mall right behind it.

“With phase one being completed in 2018. Phase two will be closely, right behind that. And that’s another 20-thousand square feet adding to the existing 25-thousand.”

High River Mayor Craig Snodgrass says it’s nice to work with developers who are willing to work within the town’s building guidelines, not just build what they want.
