Gold West Launches Ecommerce Site for Local Small Businesses to List Services
In response to the growing need in the community for access to local products from local businesses, many of you are taking initiative to provide your products and services to those who are unable to travel to local stores. As many local businesses do not have e-commerce websites, processing this growing volume of transactions and managing delivery schedules is proving to be a tremendous challenge.
Golden West can help.
BringMeBasics.com is an e-commerce website developed by the Golden West Radio Team that connects the community with your business by facilitating the online purchase of essential items. Local residents know and trust you, and they want to buy from you, but with increasingly stringent social distancing protocols, they are choosing to buy online to maintain these safety measures.
BringMeBasics.com allows your customers to order, pay for, and arrange delivery of products they need from you, online. It’s safe. It’s local. It’s available NOW!
BringMeBasics.com has a storefront specifically for YOUR COMMUNITY. to find out how you can get involved, contact us at: BringMeBasics@goldenwest.ca

COVID-19: How the Chamber is Responding
There have been many global developments over the past week due to COVID-19. These developments have affected international policies, sporting events, school schedules, and travel. While it’s easy to feel powerless in the midst of uncertainty, The High River Chamber would like you to know we are here to support you and the wider business community, regardless if you are a chamber member or not. We will continue to support all businesses and their owners through these unprecedented times.
We have decided to cancel our AGM Chamber Luncheon for this month and will put together a blog with the updates we would have provided at this meeting.
We are also working to pull together resources and provide you with information (much of which is changing daily) necessary to help you make informed decisions. Please stay tuned to our social channels and website as these will be our main vehicles for communications. We will work to be as responsive as possible to your questions, you can message us through Facebook or send us emails.
We hope this situation stabilizes soon, but while it is unfolding, it is important to refer to verified information sources. Here are a collection of resources for you:
