We’re reaching out to provide you with some important information regarding your employee benefits with us under Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, we want to do everything we can to provide you with essential information. We are all in this together and we’re committed to sharing information and supports as developments occur. The information below is accurate as of March 20, 2020, and please feel free to share it within your company.
|Business Continuity And Crisis ManagementChambers Plan has enacted the relevant portions of our business continuity plan, which was previously|
developed and thoroughly tested. Our Crisis management team meets daily to review emerging public health guidance to ensure we implement best practices in our workplaces against COVID-19, particularly regarding workplace cleanliness, social distancing and travel.Service Is Our PriorityDue to the high volume of phone calls to our Customer Service area, our fastest response is to inquiries received via email firstname.lastname@example.org. We have extended our working hours to ensure we can meet the increased volume. Claims ProcessingIf your firm has Chambers Plan Extended Health and/or Dental insurance, our online platform, my-benefits ®, is the most efficient way to submit your claims. Log in at my-benefits.ca to submit claims and sign up for direct deposit reimbursement. If you have not yet created an account, you can do so by clicking “sign-up” and following the simple instructions. Prescription MedicationThere is no need to stockpile medication. As long as prescriptions are up-to-date, you can stick to a
regular dispensing schedule. Many pharmacies have delivery options, for those who are trying to limit
their public interactions. And with my-benefits, claims can be paid quickly and easily.
|Teladoc® Telemedicine ServicesFor all employees who hold Chambers Plan Extended Health coverage, Teledoc is available 24 hours a|
day, 365 days a year. With Teladoc, you can talk with a doctor within an hour, by phone* or video
conference, from wherever you are in Canada or the US. Doctors can also prescribe medicine, if needed.
Download the app, complete the quick registration, and request a consultation with a doctor. They can
also be reached by phone at 1-888-983-5236 or online at www.teladoc.ca.
*In Quebec, telemedicine services must be offered by video conference.
|Travel CoverageTo date, there are no changes to coverage under Chambers Plan as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.|
Please note that as the pandemic progresses, this situation may change. As a reminder, Chambers Plan
does not offer any trip cancellation or interruption coverage under the Out of Country benefit.
The Government of Canada is currently advising against all non-essential travel. The most current travel

In the case of a medical emergency while travelling, please call the 24-hour emergency medical travel
assistance phone number at 1-800-465-6390 (within Canada/US) or 1-514-875-9170 (all other
countries). Healthy Business BookmarkDuring difficult times, we recognize you are focused on keeping your business running and navigating
complex issues. To assist you, every Chambers Plan business owner has access to the Healthy Business
Bookmark, provided by our partner, Arete HR Inc., specialists in Human Resources. The service includes
a total of nine hours of legal, financial and specialized human resources assistance per calendar year.

This confidential service provides access to professional counselling, and guidance from experts who understand how coping with personal issues affects absenteeism and productivity on the job.
In the March 2020 edition of Plan News, we advised the maximum number of covered hours was to be
reduced from 12 down to 8 in order to maintain the quality of the EAP benefit and keep it affordable.
Given that the COVID-19 pandemic is placing significant stress on employees and employers, we will not
be reducing the number of hours at this time.
