The Inclusion Foothills High River Winter Market is held each year at the Highwood Centre 128 – 5 Ave SW High River, AB.

The market is an indoor event designed to get visitors into the holiday spirit. Attendees can browse a wide selection of unique, handcrafted items and local products from over 70 small businesses, entrepreneurs, and makers, making it an excellent opportunity for Christmas shopping. 

The market is held in conjunction with the community's other festive events, allowing visitors to enjoy a full weekend of activities. On Friday evening, the market coincides with the annual Santa Claus Parade, which takes place right outside the doors of the Highwood Centre. The event also ties in with the "Light Up George Lane Park" activities, contributing to a vibrant, family-oriented atmosphere in High River. 

Proceeds from the market help fund the Inclusion Foothills Association's programs, which provide advocacy and support for individuals with disabilities and their families. The event also offers valuable short-term employment opportunities for participants in their inclusive employment programs, allowing vendors and the community to witness their quality service firsthand.
