Resources

Local, Provincial & Federal

There are resources everywhere that you can tap into. Below is our ever-growing list of what we know.

The Talent Pipeline Management® (TPM) Academy is a training program developed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation that strengthens partnerships between employers and their talent supply chain partners.

In Alberta, the Alberta Chambers of Commerce (ACC) is leading the implementation of TPM in Canada through its Talent Development Task Force, in partnership with the Alberta Post-Secondary Network (APSN). This initiative brings together employers, chambers of commerce, post-secondary institutions, industry associations, and government partners to address Alberta’s workforce challenges through an employer-led, demand-driven approach.

The initiative is supported by the Government of Alberta and aligns with provincial priorities to expand work-integrated learning, champion skilled trades, and connect training with real-time labour market data—key goals of Alberta’s Jobs Strategy.

As Canada’s first TPM cohort, the Alberta TPM Academy equips participants with the tools and strategies to build stronger talent pipelines and better align education and workforce systems with real employer demand.

Founder Fridays

Facilitated by Brandy Old and Craig Elias, Founder Fridays is a series of free fireside chats via Zoom with authors of entrepreneurship-related books, where we ship 100 copies of the authors’ books free to Canadian participants. Due to the program’s popularity, there is a limit of one copy of a book per household.

Events are held the first Friday of each month.
