A conversation for business owners who want to plan ahead, even if they are not ready yet.
Join Community Futures Highwood for an informal in-person workshop designed to help business owners think ahead and plan for the future of their business.
Who this is for:
Small business owners at any stage of their business who want to think ahead, plan for the future, and better understand their options. This session welcomes participants from all backgrounds and communities. Everyone is invited to learn and ask questions in a supportive environment.
Rather than diving into technical or legal details, this workshop is designed to start the conversation. Participants will explore common transition scenarios, key questions to consider, timelines, and practical ways to begin planning, even if a change feels far off.
You will leave with a clearer understanding of business transition options, a framework for thinking through future changes, and practical next steps you can explore at your own pace with the right professional support.
Whether you are years away from considering your exit from your business, or looking at the more immediate future, this session is for you.
This workshop is part of Community Futures Highwood’s business development series and will be held at the High River Library.
